Why use absentee home watch services?

Unfortunately, home ownership comes with a few headaches along the way. When you are away for a couple of weeks or even months at a time, many unexpected events could happen. From leaking pipes or a broken window to a pest or landscaping problem...by having a professional service visiting the property, you can avoid potentially disastrous situations.

Home checks to include:

  • House Key
  • Look for obvious irrigation system leaks
  • Look at the landscaping and report issues
  • Report pool pump or filter leaks
  • Check for water leaks or water damage
  • Check for signs of insects
  • Notify you if smoke detector battery needs replaced
  • Check status of refrigerators and freezers
  • Check air filter condition
  • Record and report home temperature; confirm the HVAC system settings and status
  • Mail sort & forward

  • What does the service cost?

    Pricing is based on a number of factors - size of home, frequency of visits, additional services provided. A la carte condo checks are $50 each, monthly plans including weekly condo checks start at $150/month.  Single family homes start at $60 per visit.  Most Concierge & shopping services are provided at an hourly rate of $60 per hour. Rest assured, we will tailor a plan to best suit your needs & budget.

  • What do you do if you find a problem at my home?

    Urgent matters are reported immediately via phone call.  Routine visits & non-urgent matters are reported to you via an email report, including digital photos.  If repairs are required, once you've contacted a service provider to perform the repair, notify us and we will meet them to let them in and wait while they complete the work.


    Please Note: Any personnel that make repairs at the property are hired directly by and report directly to the owner.  We do not refer or suggest any company for any service required at the property, as that is the owner's responsiblity.

  • Are you property managers?

    No.  We simply act as your "eyes & ears" to provide you with peace of mind when you can't be there, and we are available to allow access to the property to the service providers you contract with.
